GUO VILLAGE

Guo is a remote village 20 km north of Jirapa. Our charity provides the village with humanitarian aid.

We have built 3 classrooms, a school kitchen and dining room and built and furnished a computer room and a library in the village school.

We have supplied a bore hole for the village school.

We employ 6 teachers for the village school and have built quarters for these teachers to live in.

We have funded a number of students from the village to attend university on leaving school. Without our sponsorship, these young adults would not have attended university.

We have built 2 nurses quarters for the the village clinic. This means that instead of only being staffed during the day, the village clinic runs 24/7.

We are raising funds to build a house for a doctor to be on site for 24/7 to promote the clinic into a polyclinic for the area.
